Abyss Headphones (a division of JPS Labs, was founded by Joe Skubinski and has been in business for over 30 years. The hand crafted Abyss, the AB-1266 was released in 2013 to wide acceptance, very positive reviews and quickly came to be regarded by many as the best headphone. It delivered the biggest, out-of-the-head soundstage, the deepest, best defined bass, and hyper transparency.
Diana was released in 2018 as the company's second headphone. It is a more practical, much smaller, lighter, easier-to-drive headphone. It is the product of years of research and of building countless prototypes. the 1266 and Diana are designed, machined, finished and hand-assembled in Abyss' Lancaster, New York factory.
