In 2008, the founders of Audeze, Alex Rosson and Sandra Thiagasamudram, met an ex-NASA scientist who had developed a new, flexible circuit material for spacecrafts. It didn’t take long for those founders to realize it could become one of the greatest breakthroughs in headphone design. Incredibly thin, remarkably strong, and surprisingly agile, the material was perfect for use as a diaphragm in planar magnetic headphones (a design that uses etched diaphragms instead of conical drivers to produce sound). And from there, Audeze was born in 2009.
Audeze products are designed from the ground up and engineered with the latest innovations in materials and technology. This is paired with precision craftsmanship to produce products with an astonishingly dynamic and immersive sound. Audeze’s commitment to research and development is reflected in every one of their products.
