Primaluna EVO 200 Tube Power Amplifier

Just picked up the Cayin iHA-8 from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and this one really surprised me.
I’m running the iHA-8 with my HIFIMAN HE6 Remastered, and I already had the SPL Phonitor XE, so I honestly wasn’t expecting the iHA-8 to make much of a difference. After spending some time A/B’ing them, though, I ended up preferring the iHA-8 with the HE6 Remastered. It has the power, control and dynamics to really wake up the HE6, and in my system it actually beats the SPL XE.
What impressed me just as much was the buying experience. This is my third purchase from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and once again everything was absolutely smooth. I’m in Vancouver, and the shipping was ridiculously fast "overnight on Saturday". Honestly, it arrived faster than some things I’ve ordered from Amazon. 😂
And I wouldn’t limit that recommendation to Canadian customers. If you’re anywhere that Noteworthy Audio can ship to, I’d definitely consider giving Nick a shot. Great gear, great service, and incredibly fast shipping.
Overall: 5/5 from me. The Cayin iHA-8 is an excellent match for the HE6 Remastered, and Nick at Noteworthy Audio has once again delivered a first-class buying experience. Three purchases in, and I’ll definitely be back for the next piece of audio gear. Highly recommended, whether you’re in Canada or ordering internationally.

At first I had my doubts, but once I included the LAIV uDDC in the chain to my LAIV Harmony DAC, I did hear more clarity and punch in the bass frequencies. It was a surprising tweak to the system.
