Cayin, a division of Zhuhai Spark Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in China  in 1993. The company is devoted to developing best-sounding audio equipment and marketing the Hi-Fi products. Cayin's audio products carry distinctive cultural connotation and span over a very wide price range because Cayin believes in making music accessible to a wide range of customers. Cayin tube amplifiers have been particularly well-received while having a comprehensive product collection ranging from CD players to speakers as well, all of which presenting the same high quality benchmark and attractive in price performance.

When designing its plant, Cayin took into account individual capacities to create its own transformers – now every power and output transformer in a Cayin tube amplifier is designed and wound by the company’s engineers. With such a meticulous approach, it seems self-evident that all amplifiers are assembled by hand. Spark also manufacturers tube audio products for numerous audio companies.

Cayin ventured into personal audio on 2013 and launched a series of Digital Audio Players (DAP) and desktop audio products. The N-series DAP products provide a high-quality audio experience for customers while on the go, the company also released the i-series desktop audio system for lifestyle customers. Cayin also developed a series of portable audio products including portable amplifers and in-ear monitors for customers to explore in a wide range of choices.
