The new Clearaudio smart power 24V battery DC power supply upgrade, designed to unleash more of the considerable potential of Clearaudio's high-performance Ovation, Innovation and Statement turntables.

It partners intelligent circuit technology with long-lasting NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) rechargeable batteries to deliver 24V of pure, clean, fluctuation-free power. The smart power 24V can be set to switch automatically from battery play mode into recharging mode if desired. Even when recharging, it continues to offer an improvement in sound quality as well as adding safety features such as protection against short circuits and overvoltage. Its elegant, low-key design includes a dimmable LCD display.

      I am really enjoying this unit. It powers my headphones as well as sends signal to my studio monitors. I love the onboard eq and effects (which I admittedly don't use a ton but love the option) and the screen is beautiful. I have been applying some of the headphone presets andI think they're great. I know some audiophile reviewers weren't favourable of the presets but I've been loving them!

Pairs well with my Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies 3rd Gen headphone amplifier/DAC. Added an after-market balanced cable to optimize my amp, but otherwise plug and play.
