Fyne Audio's Vintage Series features luxury design cues seen from days long since gone. The entire Vintage Series has a 'no compromise' theme with fine details including hand built and finished walnut veneers, burr walnut inlays, gold anodized metalwork trim, and a plinth-style top panel. The handcrafted Presence and Energy Adjustment control dial is pure analog luxury in form and function, and the wood-framed grille cloth weave was chosen to hark back to a much simpler era of audio. Under the walnut veneer is a heavyweight, twin cavity birch ply cabinet, with sides formed into contoured curves, designed to optimize mechanical performance and reduce standing waves. The interior architecture has been developed and then tuned to optimize the premium Vintage BassTrax porting system and provide the utmost stable platform for the HF driver. From classic seventies soul to twenties techno, Vintage models deliver the purest, cleanest and most accurate audio every time.
The Vintage Ten comes with all the audio advancements of its larger siblings, including a 250mm (10”) IsoFlare driver featuring a FyneFlute roll surround, state-of-the-art BassTrax downwards-firing port system and premium, hand-built Deep Cryogenically Treated crossovers. This speaker seamlessly blends he celebrated cabinet finery of traditional loudspeakers alongside the cutting-edge audio engineering of Dr Paul Mills. With Presence and HF Energy controls to further tailor the sound to the listening environment. While still a sizeable cabinet, the handcrafted enclosures of the Vintage Ten are kept relatively slim to allow easy visual integration into small and medium sized listening rooms. The Vintage Ten is the most room-agnostic floorstanding loudspeaker in the Vintage Series.
