The device was delivered in a perfect condition with extra care. I just tried the Valkyrie with some of my IEMs. Its sound characteristic is similar to PCM 1795DAC but a little warmer. Still, it does not lose any details. Amp is not only powerful to drive my receivers smoothly, but also capable of delivering dynamics of songs with handling volume differences over all frequency ranges. Overall, great service and great device.
This thing is amazing. Nice sound stage, good details but not fatiguing and very neutral in its presentation. Presently pairing it with the Aegis headphone amplifier (tube) & Senn headphones and this combo is super solid with the Z10. Lots of really nice features in the Z10, from filters to allowing use of external master clocks. You really can’t go wrong.
