Cayin Jazz 70 Tube Integrated Amplifier

Everything about my experience with Noteworthy has been very positive. It's just taking awhile for me to figure it out. My television does not support the ARC system is it possible to buy an adapter? Thanks Andy

l am ln love with the EVO ONE! My delay in responding is due to my lack of understanding of the current technology. ÉVO ONE and I have been slowly getting to know each other. The last time I bought hi fi equipment the CD was the latest technology. I must say that the AI that answers questions is very thorough which is a surprise for me. Eventually I will understand the entire system in the meantime learning this unit is fun. I do have a question though, my television doesn't support the ARC system which I believe is required to use the EVO ONE with a television.is there an adapter available? Thanks Andy

Purchased it with both c201 and r202 DAC cards. I won’t go into a lengthy description as that sort of review is readily available online.

I own 4 other DAPS (along with 4 tube headphone amp set ups and 4 desktop solid state headphone amp set ups). And 18 headphones. In each case I have had to use an equalizer to fit my old hearing. Well, using the Cayin c201 and r202 this was the first time I did not have to equalize. So right out of the box the sound was detailed, holographic and just the right balance between bass, vocals and high notes. This was with the Meze 109 Pro. Then I tried the very difficult ATI-AP2000Ti and without equalizing is still sounded like listening out of a tin can, but, with equalization, it came into its own and sounded great, using the r202 card.

Anyway, highly recommend purchase of you have a headphone collection and are serious about tuning the setup to get the best out of your investment.

Astell&Kern SP4000T blows my mind every time I listen to Hi-res files from my archive, especially in tube amp mode that I prefer. The sound quality is phenomenal. I never expected a digital music can sound so great. Paired with Thieaudio Prestige LTD earphones and in tube pentode mode music sounds the best I ever heard. The DAP is not cheap, but definitely worth every penny. Game changer.

I’m extremely impressed with the Cayin HA-300B Mk3. It has a powerful, refined presentation with excellent dynamics, pairs beautifully with all my headphones, and is remarkably quiet. I can comfortably say this is the first tube amp I’ve owned where I didn’t feel the immediate urge to start tube rolling!

Just picked up the Cayin iHA-8 from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and this one really surprised me.
I’m running the iHA-8 with my HIFIMAN HE6 Remastered, and I already had the SPL Phonitor XE, so I honestly wasn’t expecting the iHA-8 to make much of a difference. After spending some time A/B’ing them, though, I ended up preferring the iHA-8 with the HE6 Remastered. It has the power, control and dynamics to really wake up the HE6, and in my system it actually beats the SPL XE.
What impressed me just as much was the buying experience. This is my third purchase from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and once again everything was absolutely smooth. I’m in Vancouver, and the shipping was ridiculously fast "overnight on Saturday". Honestly, it arrived faster than some things I’ve ordered from Amazon. 😂
And I wouldn’t limit that recommendation to Canadian customers. If you’re anywhere that Noteworthy Audio can ship to, I’d definitely consider giving Nick a shot. Great gear, great service, and incredibly fast shipping.
Overall: 5/5 from me. The Cayin iHA-8 is an excellent match for the HE6 Remastered, and Nick at Noteworthy Audio has once again delivered a first-class buying experience. Three purchases in, and I’ll definitely be back for the next piece of audio gear. Highly recommended, whether you’re in Canada or ordering internationally.
