Gold Note was founded in Florence in 2012 by Maurizio Aterini, now CEO and creative force behind the brand, Gold Note has quickly risen to become Italy’s foremost high-end audio manufacturer. What began as one man’s pursuit of perfect sound has grown into a globally respected name, celebrated for blending Italian artistry with cutting-edge engineering.

Maurizio’s fascination with hi-fi began in the late 1970s, when his first encounter with high-end gear sparked a lifelong devotion to sound. In 2012, with the support of his wife Elena, partner Alessio, and a skilled team of engineers and craftsmen, he launched Gold Note. From the outset, the vision was clear: create audio components that speak a simple yet powerful language - music itself.

Today, from its Tuscan headquarters, Gold Note distributes worldwide to over 50 countries. Its mission remains unchanged: to design components that don’t just reproduce sound, but reveal the soul of music.
