Description

Dynavector's DV-20X has a solid aluminum alloy body and a rigid magnet construction similar to XX-2MKII. Both high and low versions of their 20X2 are available ensure for the optimum end result. The high output model is well suited to valve preamplifiers or electronics that only offer MM inputs whilst the low output version offers superb performance when combined with dedicated moving coil inputs. The cantilever is a 6mm length of hard aluminum pipe with a Micro-Ridge stylus. The magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism along with powerful neodymium magnets gives the 20X2H a healthy 2.8 mV output - suitable for most MM inputs. The 20X2L has an output of 0.3 mV ideal for most MC phono stages.

I’m extremely impressed with the Cayin HA-300B Mk3. It has a powerful, refined presentation with excellent dynamics, pairs beautifully with all my headphones, and is remarkably quiet. I can comfortably say this is the first tube amp I’ve owned where I didn’t feel the immediate urge to start tube rolling!

Nick was excellent on my order. I placed an order then changed it while he ascertained availability and timeframe for shipping. He shipped it to me asap once he received it. Nick is customer focused, an increasingly rarity in today’s world. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service, Nick was amazing.

Amazing headphones, you did it again Noble! Also, dealing with Nick from Noteworthy Audio https://www.noteworthyaudio.com/ was like icing on the cake 🍰

Just picked up the Cayin iHA-8 from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and this one really surprised me.
I’m running the iHA-8 with my HIFIMAN HE6 Remastered, and I already had the SPL Phonitor XE, so I honestly wasn’t expecting the iHA-8 to make much of a difference. After spending some time A/B’ing them, though, I ended up preferring the iHA-8 with the HE6 Remastered. It has the power, control and dynamics to really wake up the HE6, and in my system it actually beats the SPL XE.
What impressed me just as much was the buying experience. This is my third purchase from Nick at Noteworthy Audio, and once again everything was absolutely smooth. I’m in Vancouver, and the shipping was ridiculously fast "overnight on Saturday". Honestly, it arrived faster than some things I’ve ordered from Amazon. 😂
And I wouldn’t limit that recommendation to Canadian customers. If you’re anywhere that Noteworthy Audio can ship to, I’d definitely consider giving Nick a shot. Great gear, great service, and incredibly fast shipping.
Overall: 5/5 from me. The Cayin iHA-8 is an excellent match for the HE6 Remastered, and Nick at Noteworthy Audio has once again delivered a first-class buying experience. Three purchases in, and I’ll definitely be back for the next piece of audio gear. Highly recommended, whether you’re in Canada or ordering internationally.

Alan Shiers

At first I had my doubts, but once I included the LAIV uDDC in the chain to my LAIV Harmony DAC, I did hear more clarity and punch in the bass frequencies. It was a surprising tweak to the system.
