The Cayin iDAP-8 is a true high-end digital transport. It delivers an exceptionally clean and stable digital signal, with a noticeably blacker background, improved image stability, and more natural micro-dynamics. Paired with a capable DAC, especially via I²S, it allows the downstream system to perform at its full potential rather than adding any coloration of its own.

With a large media collection I wanted to take the heat off my aging Oppo and have the collection at my fingertips. Also important was video & audio quality. The only alternative was K..Scape which is totally cost prohibitive.

The Zidoo is complex with an enormous number of setting to tailor it to my system. This took a while as does getting my media onto its 2 14TB internal Hard Drives.(purchased separately)

I also have many concerts and good audio is Paramount.

I was somewhat skeptical of the hype, however its performance is phenomenal!! Lossless audio and video.

Adding media is tedious but worth it for sure.

I highly recommend the Zidoo 8000.

Quality results

Simply the best amplifier you can get. The V324 has tons of power, tons of features, and a beautiful sound. A motorized volume knob and analog VU meters are things you don't get on cheaper amplifiers. You can't go wrong with German technology. Highly recommend!
