Description
The CXC v2 is built to read the digital audio information on a CD with absolute, unerring accuracy, and then pass it on to a digital-to-analogue convertor (such as the extremely high-quality DACs found in Cambridge’s outstanding new CXA61 and CXA81 integrated amplifiers). Every CXC component is focused only on extracting every iota of information from the disc in its tray. The disc drive in the CXC was originally developed by Cambridge Audio for its high-end 851C CD player. It’s our renowned ‘S3’ servo design, and it has class-leading levels of jitter rejection and error correction - no multi-purpose drive is able to compete with the the CXC’s levels of precision and stability.

from 110 reviewsI had watched a few reviews of the Laiv Harmony uDDC after I had purchased a Laiv uDAC, which I love. Adding the uDDC opened up the sound of the uDAC to my listening, giving it a more clear, clean sound and stretching the soundstage. Very happy with the my decision to add the uDDC to my audio setup. Very well engineered and manufactured. Quality stuff.
Fast shipping and item well packaged.
Excellent DAC. I'm really impressed with the quality of the unit and the sound it reproduces. Great buy. Especially for the price.
Great Unit!
Upgraded from an Element S + LHY MEdia Converter.
Improved sonics very quiet.
It sounds just so analog but with the clarity of high resolution..
The Shanling ct 90 has amazing build quality looks fantastic & the sound is the best i have heard from any cd player under $2000 .
This thing is just incredible. Had it for a couple weeks now and I can tell you that the improvements in sound quality (stereo separation, sound stage, overall non-fatiguing warm tonal balance, etc.) using the I2S connection, are just delightful. Had a budget Fiio K13 r2r which I liked a lot but this unit is well worth the upgrade. Fully packed with fearures for customizing the sound to your liking, it canbe used as a stand-alone DAC, a DAC-preamp or a headphone amp. And the build construction is also much higher than what the price suggests. Highly recommended!
Great experience with my purchase from noteworthy audio. Will definitely be doing business with them again.
Great Streaming Amplifier and very happy with my purchase from Noteworthy Audio.
I was highly impressed by the fast delivery. The unit was shipped immediately and arrived in perfect condition, double-boxed for extra security. The customer support team was professional and responsive. Buying high-end audio gear can be a major investment, so finding a trustworthy retailer is essential. I will definitely be returning for my future audio needs.
At first glance, the µDAC is strikingly premium. Machined from a single block of aluminum, the chassis feels incredibly solid. The µDAC’s sound signature is defined by its transparency and immediacy. µDAC focuses on focus and density. Images are carved out with sharp precision within the stage. The bass is particularly noteworthy—it’s not just deep, but highly "textured," allowing you to hear the vibration of a double bass string rather than just a low-frequency thud. My current setup consists of the Topping A70 Pro and HiFiMAN Arya Organic . It is a "Musical-Technical" sound. It provides all the surgical detail an audiophile demands, but it delivers it with a smooth, analog-like flow that makes it easy to lose yourself in the music for hours
TheAK SP3000M delivers excellent sound. A pleasure to listen to no matter the music genre. The exceptional service from Nick at Noteworthy makes the experience even better.
Great customer service and fast shipping.
I bought the product in black
It has a sleek look and is easy to use
I've been using a laptop to Denefrips Hermes DDC via USB to a Bryston BDA3 via AES input for many years. I know the laptop is 'noisy' (and I took a lot of comments for using it as opposed to a NAS and streamer) but it served me well.
The laptop is old, slow, and out of memory, and it's not worth upgrading. Rather than just buying a new one, I started looking at streamers again. The term steamer is somewhat misleading as they are really a computer optimized for music playback. One of my requirements, however was that it had to have onboard storage - don't want a NAS.
I picked up an Eversolo T8, not expecting a major sound improvement, but as a precursor to eventually replacing the DAC and solving my storage and control needs.
The things I noticed:
-improved clarity
-more bass weight
-more fuller sound
These weren't night/day improvements, but an overall refinement and showed me how good the Bryston DAC was when you provide it with a really good source signal. I tried various connections between the Eversolo and the Bryston and found the USB and the AES were so close I couldn't tell the difference. I settled on the USB connection as I can still use the Denefrips DDC for my DVD player and TV (Movies sound marvelous). I think I can get a few more years out of the Bryston! The phone APP for the Eversolo works great but I'll never use many of the features.
I am happy with the headphones and also the overall service received by Noteworthy Audio. The shipment was delayed but they kept me informed on the progress of the order. I would recommend buying from Noteworthy Audio.
