Description

The new Cayin Audio CS-100A tube amplifier is rated at 80 watts per channel in Class AB Ultra-linear mode and 50-watts per channel in triode mode. It features an on board bias meter, can be used with KT-88 or the EL family tubes and uses silver internal wiring.

The CS-100A incorporates a 6SN7 tube for voltage amplification, 12AU7EH for phase inversion/voltage amplification and 12BH7EH for voltage amplification and driver stages, with KT-88 or EL-34 output valves. Soft-Start circuitry protects the amplifier and extends the life of internal components and tubes.

The CS-100A features a high grade Alps volume control, audio-grade capacitors, carbon film resistors, toroidal transformer for power supply and wide-bandwidth EI output transformers.

    Best unboxing experience I had in…forever! The headphone box was carefully packaged inside another box with bubble wrap all around from top to bottom. Fragile and handle with care stickers were all over the box too which is a good reminder for those delivery guys who throw around their boxes in their truck.

    I am really enjoying this unit. It powers my headphones as well as sends signal to my studio monitors. I love the onboard eq and effects (which I admittedly don't use a ton but love the option) and the screen is beautiful. I have been applying some of the headphone presets andI think they're great. I know some audiophile reviewers weren't favourable of the presets but I've been loving them!
