This All in One is amazing. The Luxsin X9’s built jsp database (HP-EQ) contains official oratory1990 preset is great for my Hifiman HE1000 stealth. The built in headphone amplifier is quite impressive, although I do pre out to a Aune S17pro Evo for a little more headroom, but it is totally unnecessary as the Luxsin has plenty of power.

Well, the hype is true. Holographic soundstage, precise separation of vocals and instrumental parts. A tiny magic box that put to shame the muffled sound of my integrated DAC. That one is a keeper.

My headphone listening adventure began about 8 years ago with a purchase of Focal Utopia flagship headphones and a good quality amp and DAC joined together with Nordost cables to my ROON server. The electronic components (DAC and amp) at that time cost me about $7,000 CAD. Two weeks ago I received my LAIV Harmony 𝛍DAC and AUNE S17 Class A headphone amp by courier and even upon first listen I was blown away. I never realized that my Utopias could reach into the music with so much delicacy and bass richness. All without the treble edginess that my wife had on her planar phones. This is not meant to be a Utopia review, but I realized that the Utopias need very fine gear to release their abilities. Gear that cost me about $2,500 CAD. Amazing how much the audio gear has been refined in the last 8 years, for a third of the cost. Five thumbs up.
