Fiio's flagship custom-engineered in-ear monitor, the FX17, is the culmination of nearly 2 decades of research and development, merging advanced acoustic technology with a minimalist design philosophy. This model is the result of exhaustive R&D, featuring a remarkable 13-driver setup per side. It includes a 10mm dynamic driver with a lithium-magnesium alloy diaphragm, delivering rich, impactful bass. This is paired with four custom Knowles balanced armature drivers for articulate mids and highs, and eight ultra-resolving electrostatic (EST) drivers from SONION, ensuring exceptional detail and treble extension. Together, these components form a highly sophisticated system that captures every nuance of your music.
Every element of the FX17 exudes flagship quality, starting with its construction. The entire shell, from the internal acoustic structure to the external faceplates, is crafted from high-purity titanium. This provides a lightweight yet extremely durable housing, hand-polished and finished using vapor deposition for a sleek, lustrous appearance. FiiO has taken user comfort seriously, adjusting the angle between the sound nozzle and the ear-facing surface by approximately 10° based on ergonomic research. This small but significant change ensures a more secure and comfortable fit, ideal for extended listening sessions.
