The new LIMITED EDITION Luxman L-100 Centennial Integrated Amplifier has been created to commemorate LUXMAN’s 100th anniversary. The L-100 CENTENNIAL is a pure Class-A integrated amplifier devoted entirely to the joy of exquisite music reproduction. Every element has been designed to preserve the integrity of the most delicate of musical signals while pursuing the highest level of sonic purity. At its core is LIFES 1.1, the latest evolution of LUXMAN’s proprietary amplification feedback engine, which cancels only the detected distortion components without degrading the audio signal. Volume control operation is handled by our newly developed LECUA1000, a simple, yet ultra-precise attenuator that preserves signal freshness. The output stage operates entirely as a pure Class-A amplifier, with uncompromising dedication to sound quality. Despite a rated output of 20W, our robust power supply design supports reproduction of any input source with remarkable authority and dense musicality. This series is the ultimate expression of LUXMAN’s 100-year heritage and the L-100 CENTENNIAL enhances listening as a truly sublime experience.
The power supply, the beating heart of the L-100 CENTENNIAL, features our custom designed EI-core transformer regulated by eight large filter capacitors (8 x 10,000μF). This steadfast LUXMAN power supply delivers exceptional transient response and unwavering stability, providing abundant energy under all load conditions, ensuring complete control over loudspeakers with ease and authority.
In addition to the standard 6.3mm headphone jack, the L-100 CENTENNIAL is equipped with a 4.4mm headphone output featuring independent left and right channel ground wiring. This configuration improves channel separation and imaging, allowing compatible headphones and cables to deliver a spacious, high resolution listening experience.
A high-quality MM/MC phono amplifier is incorporated to support premium analog record playback. Additional external features include tone controls, loudness compensation, left/right balance adjustment, preamp /power amp separation capability and a mute function. An auto power-save mode is also provided to reduce power consumption when the amplifier is not in use, combining convenience with efficiency.
All circuit boards for the input and output terminals and amplifier stages use peel-coat PCB technology, eliminating resistive coatings and lowering induced voltage that can degrade sound quality. Newly developed low-noise relays improve channel separation in the input selector circuitry. It reflects LUXMAN’s uncompromising, sound-first design philosophy down to the smallest detail.
