The new LAIV Crescendo VERSE is an all in one digital and analog hub designed for listeners who value truth in sound. Compact, refined, and purpose built, VERSE brings LAiV’s core engineering philosophy into a single, versatile component for both desktop and main system use.

The VERSE is built around LAiV’s R2R ladder DAC architecture, designed to preserve musical texture and tonal accuracy. It delivers a digital presentation that feels organic and emotionally engaging.

VERSE combines native DSD 1-bit processing with an integrated sampling rate converter, VERSE allows you to resample PCM and DSD formats effortlessly. 

VERSE is more than a DAC. With a discrete output buffered preamplifier and a fully discrete headphone stage, it anchors both personal and speaker based systems with confidence and flexibility.

VERSE features electable gain, multiple headphone outputs, and comprehensive protection circuits make VERSE powerful, quiet, and safe for everyday use across a wide range of headphones. The headphone stage is protected by built-in safety circuits, including temperature, overload, and DC protection.

This thing is just incredible. Had it for a couple weeks now and I can tell you that the improvements in sound quality (stereo separation, sound stage, overall non-fatiguing warm tonal balance, etc.) using the I2S connection, are just delightful. Had a budget Fiio K13 r2r which I liked a lot but this unit is well worth the upgrade. Fully packed with fearures for customizing the sound to your liking, it canbe used as a stand-alone DAC, a DAC-preamp or a headphone amp. And the build construction is also much higher than what the price suggests. Highly recommended!

At first glance, the µDAC is strikingly premium. Machined from a single block of aluminum, the chassis feels incredibly solid. The µDAC’s sound signature is defined by its transparency and immediacy. µDAC focuses on focus and density. Images are carved out with sharp precision within the stage. The bass is particularly noteworthy—it’s not just deep, but highly "textured," allowing you to hear the vibration of a double bass string rather than just a low-frequency thud. My current setup consists of the Topping A70 Pro and HiFiMAN Arya Organic . It is a "Musical-Technical" sound. It provides all the surgical detail an audiophile demands, but it delivers it with a smooth, analog-like flow that makes it easy to lose yourself in the music for hours
