The new LAIV HP2A Class A preamplifier headphone amplifier features a perfectly symmetrical design, meaning that each channel has its own dedicated circuit to keep the audio signal isolated and pure. The Class A circuit also ensures extremely low distortion and high linearity. With this preamplifier, you'll enjoy every nuance of your music, with depth, detail and dynamics.
The HP2A also features a precision-matched ladder resistor volume control for smooth, noise-free volume control. This is combined with a discrete Class A preamplifier with buffer for unsurpassed signal integrity and exceptional audio clarity
LAiV Harmony HP2A is a discrete Class AB headphone amplifier. It's equipped with four wide-bandwidth EXICON MOSFETs per channel for a powerful, immersive listening experience, allowing you to unleash the full potential of your favorite headphones. What's more, its low distortion and high precision will let you rediscover your music in every detail. The balanced design of the amplification circuit dramatically reduces crosstalk.
With the HP2A, select an output mode quickly and easily using the switch on the front panel of the HP2A. Choose between preamplifier only, headphone amplifier only, or preamplifier and headphone amplifier at the same time. The HP2A's front panel features several headphone outputs: XLR 4-pin and 4.4mm balanced, as well as 6.35mm unbalanced.
Every design element of the HP2A makes use easy, intuitive and enjoyable, while maintaining the highest standards of audio performance. From output flexibility to safety features, every aspect of the device is designed to enhance your listening experience.
Button location ensures easy, safe operation, while the notches on the top of the unit allow perfect positioning, reducing the risk of damage. In addition, a volume-limiting function ensures moderate output when the device is switched on, to protect your hearing and your speakers. A comprehensive protection system is also present, safeguarding the system against DC, overload and temperature problems.
The HP2A's TWO OLED displays are seamlessly implemented to give the illusion of a single screen. These provide clear information on device parameters and operation, while offering simple navigation through the various menus.
The HP2A includes the same remote control as the Harmony DAC. This enables seamless integration, offering convenience to users who own both devices, avoiding the need to use two different remotes. This well-thought-out feature reduces clutter and makes managing your system simpler and more intuitive.
